At Heather Bailey Optometrists we pride ourselves in continually investing in the latest sight examination equipment.
We can now offer optomap ultra-widefield retinal imaging.
This state of the art piece of equipment allows us to photo and analyse the widest possible image of your retina.
Optomap ultra-widefield retinal imaging allows us to view 200 degrees of your retina which is more than 80% compared to typical methods that only view 10 to 15% of your retina at one time.
What does this mean for you?
The optomap combined with other diagnostic tests allows for the early detection of eye problems, signs of which may only be apparent in the periphery of the retina first that could be detected using optomap ultra-widefield imaging.
If you would like to know more about the optomap or any of our other services then please telephone us.
